Pride of the Playground at Burnside!
We are delighted that Burnside has been taking part in the Pride of the Playground initiative, led in school by Miss Leonard to promote and celebrate our school values: Be Safe, Be Smart, Be Kind.
Inspired by the values celebrated through the Pride of Britain Awards, this initiative recognises the wonderful acts of kindness, courage, friendship, and thoughtfulness that happen in our school every single day.
We have been so impressed with all of our children for taking the time to nominate their friends, classmates, and even teachers for these brilliant awards! It has been truly heartwarming to see our children recognising the good in others and celebrating the people who make a difference to those around them.
These nominations are a wonderful reminder that you don't have to do something extraordinary to be extraordinary. Sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness can have the biggest impact.
A huge well done to everyone who has been nominated, and a massive thank you to all our children for embracing this initiative. We are so proud of the way you celebrate and support one another. Everyone should be proud of themselves for helping to make Burnside such a caring, kind, and special place to learn and grow!
