AMAZING NEWS FROM THE 'IF YOU WERE AN ENGINEER' NORTH EAST AWARDS!
We are bursting with pride today! Yesterday, the regional Exhibition and Awards ceremony took place and Burnside Primary had some incredible success.
Huge congratulations to Ada (Year 1) and Henry (Year 6), who were both named regional winners for their fantastic designs!
The celebrations didn't stop there - Henry also took home the highly prestigious regional 'Judges Award' and the professional engineers on the judging panel were incredibly impressed with his innovative idea.
To put their achievements into perspective, there were over 70,000 entries nationally, split across just 25 regions. For Burnside to have two regional winners and a Judges Award is an absolutely phenomenal achievement!
