This prestigious regional initiative brings together school leaders from across the North East to share best practices, research-backed strategies, and innovative approaches to inclusive education. Participation in this network enables our leadership team to work alongside regional specialists, ensuring that Burnside Primary remains at the forefront of inclusive pedagogy.

Through this programme, we are:

• Strengthening Inclusive Leadership: Developing research-informed strategies to ensure our curriculum and learning environments meet the diverse needs of all pupils.

• Building Professional Networks: Collaborating closely with partner schools across the North East to share insights, solve challenges, and raise standards across the region.

• Enhancing Pastoral & SEND Provision: Refining our targeted support and pastoral systems so that every pupil—regardless of their starting point—feels valued, safe, and empowered to succeed.
