While every day brings new wonders and we often follow the children’s lead, we find that a consistent rhythm helps our two-year-olds feel safe, secure, and ready to learn.
Note to Parents: This is an example of our typical daily flow. We remain flexible to accommodate the energy of the group, special events, or—most importantly—the individual needs of your child.
09:00 am | The Big Welcome Our day begins with a warm greeting. Children settle in, find their pegs, and engage in "soft start" activities to help them transition from home to school.
10:15 am | Refuel & Socialise Time for a healthy, communal snack. We use this time to develop communication skills, practice pouring drinks, and try new flavours together.
10:30 am | Outdoor Explorers Rain or shine, we head outside! Our explorers develop their gross motor skills by climbing, digging, and investigating nature in our dedicated outdoor space.
12:00 pm | Lunchtime & Home-Time We gather for a nourishing lunch. For our friends joining us for 15-hour funded sessions, this marks the end of their session as they head home for the day.
12:45 pm | Rest & Recharge Two-year-olds are busy people! This is our dedicated quiet time. Whether it’s a nap for those who still need one or quiet carpet play with soft music and books, we ensure every child has a chance to recharge their batteries.
01:30 pm | Free-Flow Exploration The afternoon is all about choice. Our "Free-Flow" sessions allow children to move between different learning zones, including:
Creative Corner: Messy play, painting, and sensory textures.
Movement & Magic: Exercise, dance, and music sessions to build coordination.
Construction Zone: Building big dreams with blocks and crates.
02:40 pm | Story & Song We come together for a "Grand Finale." We share a favourite book, sing action songs, and reflect on what made our day special.
03:00 pm | Session End We say our goodbyes to our core-day friends. For those staying for Wrap Around Care, a late afternoon snack and further play activities begin.
As experts in early development, we know that two-year-olds learn best through movement and sensory experience. By balancing high-energy outdoor play with quiet "nurture" time, we ensure your child remains happy and engaged without becoming overwhelmed.
