Attendance

At Burnside Primary School, excellent attendance is one of our key priorities. We believe that good attendance helps children make the most of the learning opportunities we provide every day. It also supports them in becoming emotionally resilient, confident, and capable individuals who can achieve their goals, fulfil their aspirations, and make a positive contribution to their community.

We do not want any child to be disadvantaged by poor attendance. That’s why we work closely with families to identify the reasons behind any attendance concerns as early as possible. Together, we aim to resolve any difficulties and provide appropriate support where needed.

At Burnside Primary School, parents, staff, and pupils all share the responsibility of maintaining high attendance standards to ensure every child can reach their full potential.
