As the weather warms up, it’s essential to take precautions to protect our children from the sun’s rays. Here are a few reminders:

 

1. Sunscreen: Please ensure your child comes to school wearing sunscreen. Apply it before they leave home, and please, provide a small bottle for reapplication during the day. Sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher is recommended.

2. Hats and Caps: Encourage your child to wear a hat or cap outdoors. It provides an extra layer of protection for their face and neck.

3. Sunglasses: Sunglasses not only look cool but also shield their eyes from harmful UV rays. If your child has a favourite pair, feel free to send them to school with it!

4. Label Everything: To avoid mix-ups, kindly label all items—hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen—with your child’s name.
