Good morning

I have spoken with Public Health this morning and we will be sending out letters on their behalf to parents of children in classes with higher positive COVID cases (3L and 6BM) and requesting they book a PCR test for their children.

Although our office staff know many of you very well, should you need to collect your child from school to take them for a test, please remember to bring your ID to present at reception just incase other staff are covering who may not know you.

Colleagues from Public Health were complimentary of the measures we have already introduced at Burnside. In consultation with them we will also be introducing the following measures:

• Key Stage 2 classrooms will return to sitting in forward facing rows.
• Move from twice weekly staff lateral flow testing to daily testing. Please note many staff are already doing this.
• Requesting ALL parents/carers to wear a mask when dropping off or collecting (unless exempt for medical reasons).
