What is harmful content?

Well, it’s anything online which causes a person distress or harm.

UK Safer Internet Centre have put together a great online resource which focuses on providing advice about all types of harm online and signposting users to the correct services. Two versions of the 'Report Harmful Content; website have been developed, 1 for children and one for adults.
