Storm Barra is the latest severe weather event to hit the UK in recent days. The storm is predicted to bring strong winds, sleet, snow, rain and ice.

 

To protect the school and the children Mr Marks will conduct a full site inspection this afternoon to ensure everything possible is secured. All trees on the site are inspected once a year by Northumberland Council to ensure they do not pose a risk.

 

Mr Marks will conduct a second site inspection at 7am tomorrow morning to ensure everything is safe. 

 

During severe winds etc the children will be kept inside rather than playing outside for safety.
